Some places have an atmosphere that is hard to put into words.
Noir Cuisine on Tübinger Straße in Stuttgart is one of those places. A Vietnamese restaurant that stands out with its minimalist, dark design, yet still manages to create a sense of warmth unlike anywhere else. Sitting there feels different compared to most restaurants. You get the feeling of being more present in the moment, experiencing the food and the conversations on a much more intense level. With this documentary, we wanted to capture how this atmosphere came to be, what drives the concept, and how such an extraordinary space can make you feel right at home.
